This is what I installed in my truck and it made a noticeable difference. The harness is great quality and customer service at GOS was exceptional.

I added Silvania Silverstar Ultra 9007 bulbs in the headlamps and Silvania Silverstar Ultra 9005 bulbs in the fogs and am very happy with the new light pattern (I haven't had any problems with the Silvertars like wispsd has had). I've been running that setup for 6 months and have no heat issues with any lamps nor has anyone flashed their beams at me.

Just my .02

I am with you Brian I have had my set up for a while and have yet to run into an issue and I also got my silverstars and 02 head lights used that had been on a truck for a long time.

When installing 02-04 lights in a 99-01 all you need are the headlight assemblies w/ bulbs AND adjuster screws. The adjuster screws are different on the old style lights and do not work with the 02 style lights. No need for a special harness, no cutting anything. 15 minutes to swap the lights out and you're done!

Thanks guys. I think that I have to start looking at the junk yards for some 02-04 headlights. Not too many around here though. I guess that is reason for a road trip to the big city of Spokane!

From my experience, the lights are hard to find at the yard. I would think you'd have a yard closer than Spokane, wouldn't you? Awful long ways to go for head lights! If you want I'll be in SpoCompton today, I could probably take a look for you and see if they have anything.

superduty4X4,

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll try local first. Around here, it kinda like walking onto the set of Deliverance though.
