just a start up and driving with the new clutch(kevin is frostys_mechanic, he didnt get to replace it he was in school, colby and i replaced it though. now he got to feel how we did with it )
I bet ol Frosty is pretty unstoppable in type of mud, just don't come down here in west Texas. We have the world's worst black clay, and man that stuff is not only bottomless, but its also so sticky I've seen in bog up tractor tires. So big heavy diesels don't fare well at all.
here in tennessee down in the gulfs we got some bluish gray color clay mud, and i dont care what kinda truck and tires you got its some of the hardest stuff to get threw, you just got to stay in the ruts and keep the tires spinning.
White City ponds!?!?! I agree, thats pathetic I'm just kidding ya. Lets go find you some real wheelin' spots to test that truck, like Lake Creek or around Kane Creek. Or up Wagner. Probably find some deep snow about now.
Are you from over in that area? The company I work for is only a mile or so away from the ponds. I've done quite a few rescues from people getting stuck or breaking down in there since our shop is so close.

I have my horses on Wagner. :d
i'm pretty picky about where i take my truck cause if i get it stuck its gonna take a lot to get it out. We mainly just took my truck to haul the other quad out and to be there to pull out the others.
Generally it is not a good idea to get the biggest heaviest vehicle stuck.
That usually make retrieval much harder.
Worst part, looks like not a lot of anchor points close to anchor a winch line to.
I also know about that blue grey clay dyoung14 was talking about, gumbo is what we called it in the excavation business.
Packs in everything and very hard to dig out.
