door swap
I thought I had read on here that the doors from the late 70's until 91 were interchangable. Can anyone confirm that? I'd love to swap in some with power windows and power locks into my 82.

Jegs has a few conversion kits available. It maybe easier especially if your doors are in good shape. A complete door with all the electrical parts is heavy. Depending on your location finding a rust and dent free door could be a lenghty search.

I had thought about that, the problem is my doors both have rust in the bottom that is all the way through. Plus all the rubber is dry-rotted. I figured it'd be easier to see if I can find some doors at a pull-a-part lot.
