I unplugged mine and it opened and shut whenever it wanted.
My truck didnt run proper for 2 months or so until I figured this out.
I have no wired it open and everything seems OK other than its pretty cold here and the truck seems to smoke alot until it warms up.
But once ot warms up.......
Did you unplug the connector or unhook the rod? If you did the connector your issue is weird. if you unhooked the actuator rod that was your problem.
i unplugged it the other day. no problems yet. the funny thing is that these problems never came about till after I changed my oil. Does the ebpv look at anything where oil would change operation?
Does anyone have a photo of what this connector looks like? I cannot find mine with the descriptions in previous posts. Is it possible that my truck does not have it?
its a duetch connector I believe. If you have the engine cover off, look down on the drivers side of the engine valley right under the turbo then move your eyes forward about 3 inches. It will be right tthere. My truck isnt here at the house or I would get a pic for you.
