I have a co-worker who just purchased a set of the telescoping tow mirrors to replace the old padel ones.
besides the three screws from the inside of the cab is there anything special about the removal. Do you have to take the interior panel off? or is there a special way of un hooking the outside from the door.
He said he took the small interior panel off and removed the screws. He though the mirror would just come off. I dont know since I already have the tow mirrors installed. Is there any special way of lifting the mirror from the outside off of the door?
Scott beat me to it as well...If I could give him some reps I would...great job Scott!...I have to spread some love around before I can hit you again...
OP...good luck...very easy to change these mirrors and that site does a great job of walking you thru the process.
He had good feedback.....i dont like buying aftermarket, but i thought i would give them a try.
Best price i could find on heated, power, and turns.

Boy howdy you'll be waitin'.....
If they're like UPS in my area, everytime I order something for my truck UPS always takes their sweet, sweet time coming to my area. It's almost as if they know I'm waiting anxiously for my package. .

Those jerks.....j/k lol
Sweet!
So did you get them wired up correctly?
(I.e. turnsignal and clearance lights)
I've seen enough people driving around my area with them wired up wrong. When I pull up next to them, the look at my mirrors and then look at theirs like: "somethings not right here...."
Sure did. My Ex already had turn signals in the mirror, so i just had to run a wire for the parking lights. I will have pictures posted later today on the thread that i started a few weeks ago titled "looking for telesopic tow mirrors"
