i have a 95 f-150 with bench seat and built in arm rest. i want to swap to captains chair buckets with a center console. anyone done this yet?? does anyone know where i can obtain a pair in gray cloth?? i need all wiring and hardware and tracks.
I know the feeling. I'm wantin to do the same thing to an 88, but I'm having a hard time finding decent seats. All of the seats I've found are either bent or they want to much for them. Good luck.
I have considered the same thing. Your best bet may be to get a set of aftermarket seats from JCWhitney or Summit Racing. The brand is Steel Horse, they come with brackets to adapt them to any truck. They come in various color cloths and leathers. However you are probably searching for a stock replacemtent.

I HAD A BENCH SEAT IN MY TRUCK"84 F-150" WHAT I DID IS GO TO THE JUNK YARDS,AUTO RECLAIM LOTS, TO FIND A 80 TO 87 TRUCK WITH BUCKET SEATS.
GOT THE SEATS HAD THEM REDONE AT A AUTO UPHOLSTERY SHOP FOR ABOUT $350.00,AND THEY PUT THEM IN .....
That bench seat wouldn't happen to be vinyl would it?
I have an '97 F-350 with a cloth bench, and I would love to switch it over to a vinyl bench. The Ford Parts guy tells me the two vinyl skins are way too expensive.
Will the buckets work in a standard cab, no room to recline or move back too far. I've been considering the high backs in the JCW catalog but am concerned about being able to get comfortable, with so little range in movement.
I just got a nice 92 vinyl bench for $50 at the junkyard up the street from my house. Only two wear items visible. Went in the 78, and I took the cloth 82 Supercab bench out of it and put it in the 70.
