Did fireside chat with Jack on Friday night and got home about 10:30. I only live about 20 miles from the campground, so was lazy and slept in my own bed at home.
Saturday went shooting with Jack and Thomas. I took my snubby S&W 38 and sprayed bullets on the 15 yard target. Jack had a couple of 45's and 38's so I shot those a few times too. Thanks Jack for sharing. Then we had our world rock a few times when a guy 10 feet away started setting off a few rounds in a hand cannon in 460 S&W. That thing is a monster.
We went back to camp for lunch and then met folks at the ORV area for an afternoon of wheeling and had a great time. It was great, we met Skunktruck(Jim) and his side kick Earl, the great dane. Several folks managed to get stuck in the mud a few times. (Tony of course) and then in the evening back to the campground for great chili and food. We then had the campifire time with the usual BS.
Sorry, I couldn't get there guys I just hate those last minute plan changes
but it never fails, but some things just can't be helped. See that's why I hate to make plans.
Sounds like you all had a great time anyway. My apologies again
Had a good time camping last night, although the herd thinned to about 8 of us by the end of the night. Pretty windy, but the night temps were good. At the house right now to let the dogs out and take a quick shower, and then it's back to the trails!
welp, i had a hell of a sweet time for the couple hours i got to stay out at the ORP. Curtis once again impressed and scared the **** out of me. he can realy make that EEP go through some sweet stuff. it also stands on its front tires well. del also did good, as did our new friend in the other EEP.
i didnt get any pictures, but there were other people who did.
thanks again for the fun guys....... and LETS SEE THOSE PICTURES!!!!
I will have to load them to photobucket real quick.
Curt and Del, I will burn off the entire SD card out of our camera for you fellas. There is plenty of good coverage, a whole 1.5 Gigs! There is even a video from when Jamie and I went flying down that hill, just to get stuck in the muck.
If anyone else wants the pics and vids that we took just PM me your address and I will mail you a DVD, free of charge.
