Well I can now say with first hand experience that Jim Rose from RDS/DIY injector as well as Bill and Corey from Power Hungry are top notch folks to deal with!
Jim rebuilt a set of AB for one of my customers truck and did a great job as well offering me many options on repair/cost! Thank you Jim!! Truck runs great!!
And Bill and Corey from PHP reprogrammed a PCM and FICM from a 6blow for me and have been great to deal with! I opened the box and looked at the invoice and it seems they cut me a great deal and also send a BUNCH of swag including some candies that we all enjoyed this afternoon!
Both companies were easy to get ahold of by phone, email and PM.
sweet, i guess that mix matched 6.0 is up and running, i was still wondering about it
No its far from running!! The FICM is questionable. Bill said it took 6 tries for it to take the reprogram and that last time he saw that the FICM had a bad coil and I still have a bunch of codes! The owner is bringing over his spare plow truck with the 6.0 so we can get known good parts to start swapping. It will be at the shop all week I am afraid! I HATE 6.0's!! Especially when they are a Heinz 57 mix put together by a high school kid that knows enough to be VERY dangerous!
i wish i was closer, i'd be more then willing to give you a hand with it. 6.0's are no that bad to work on, just need lots of beer to keep your sanity....lol

No beer for me and the green goodness (mountain dew) can only do so much! I probably wouldn't hate them so much if I knew them a little better. This one will help me though! Just like the 05 Dodge 5.9 CR last week! Be glad you have HEUI rather than a 5.9 CR! Them injectors are just as expensive as new Ford injectors! And when 6 of them leak the truck don't start!
well i dont like beer either, but i also hate mountain dew...yuck!
one more quick thing to check on your 6.0, your scanner should have a pid called "FICM SYNC" its a yes or no pid, see what it says, yes is good, no is fried. most techs overlook that simple pid.
I looked at that today and it was a no but the batteries are also quite low. So they were charging at the time but still quiet low. Monday we are going to put the known good FICM on and see what happens

Yup... we were trying to get it finished in time for our UPS pick up, and the darn thing wouldn't program. I knew there was an issue when I heard a weird beeping noise come from Bill's desk. I asked what was wrong, and he told me, "It's supposed to make a noise, but not THAT noise." UPS came and went, and when Bill finally got it to program, we got it boxed up and called our UPS guy to find out where he was so we could take it to him.

THANK YOU BOTH!!!
Have to agree with you -- we've had nothing but good experiences with Jim, and you are so very , Tim! I love throwing in extra goodies for an unexpected treat when customers open their boxes. And who doesn't like candy?!? Let us know if you need anything else, and have a spectacular weekend!
