I really don't have any input here, but thought I'd insert the smileys for those of you that don't seem to be able to.

Edit: Normal Edit.

Edited Edit: Still no problems. Don't see the issue. <--this one was done using Joes method....(this is also the 4th edit to this post)

Edited Edit Edit: BTW, Google Chrome here.

Several people have been having issues, this seems to fix it.

Smiliey's will also work after you clear the history.
OK... I'm game... I'll try it.

EDIT #1... OK, I have the "Save" "Go Advanced" and "Cancel" buttons showing up... and GUESS WHAT... can't get the edit saved. Now I'll try deleting my cache, etc.

EDIT #2... Cookies, Files, and History have now all been deleted, and ONCE AGAIN.... can't get it to save without using Joe's method!!

EDIT #3... I went straight to the "Go Advanced" route for this edit, and GUESS WHAT.... ... at least I can use the little smilies again, but it still sucks that I have to go through this double-jointed routine for editing a post and getting it re-posted.

You gotta be fricking kidding me!!!
Tell me about it. The worst part was when I read I needed to log off after each visit! Do you know how ridiculous that would be? I come to FTE off and on about a dozen times a day. Logging in each time would be a HUGE, MAJOR PITA!

Now here's the kicker, I haven't had one problem with my laptop, from which I've been posting from tonight.

Stewart

EDIT: Just to throw a smiley out there

Subscribing to test the edit.
Edit one using IE as the default browser.
Edit two using IE and the "go advanced" window.
Edit three using IE and the "go advanced" window, adding smileys. and then previewed.

I suspect EVERYONE's is now working, as it seems they got "something" fixed.

As I said, it's on their end.

Yes, Dan... I still use IE as my default browser, but only because it's established that way on my business laptop by the company IT lords.

I have five browsers on my computer, as I maintain a web site for dog rescue and check my work against them.

I still use FireFox to routinely browse.

(Safari, Chrome, and Opera are the others.)
