New to Forum but not new to ford trucks. I just bought a 2000 7.3 f350 180k. I think I got a pretty good deal $7000. Normal wear and tear on the body its got air bags and all the hooks for a camper.
I have been watching ebay and craiglist for awhile and notice alot of trucks for sale if you look close they are missing the overdrive button on the column. Is this something i should have considered before I bought it or just a peice that falls off all the time. First thing that comes to mind is the truck been stolen and this is part of the aftermath.
Mine popped off first couple months I had mine 8 years ago! I dabbed 2 spots of superglue on it and it never cam off again...prolly never will but it wont fall off anymore!
Well welcome to FTE. Interesting avatar there. Stupid people have always been stupid, and always will be. Not a damned thing that can be done about it.

Welcome to FTE. If you're talking about the little ring that goes around the OD button at the end of the shifter, that's a fairly common thing. You should be able to pick one up at the dealer for just a few $$$. The new one just snaps on.
