Here is a cell phone pic of my new to me 2000 f25 V10 4x4 LB 54,000 miles. I payed $11,000 for it and am hoping it will last me a long time./Users/chris/Desktop/2000 F250 V-10.jpg
Hopefully the pic comes out if not i'll try and learn how to post. This truck is like new condition and has a 4" rancho lift on it. BTW first post on this forum!
Owe that's a bummer, 25 posts before i can post a pic of the truck! owe well... It's kind of a bad pic as it was done with the cell phone.. I'll take some good ones with the camera tonight and get them to you if you can post for me great. if not i'll post up once i get 25 or so posts. I am curious it came with the original window sticker and there is an added off road package to the list. What did this consist of?
You can post a link with pics from an account like Photobucket. I'll send you my e-mail in case you want me to post pics for you.
Since yours is an 00' I believe the offroad package consists of "Offroad" lettering under the 4X4 decals on each side of the bed, tranfer case skid plate and fuel tank skid plate. The offroad or FX4 package varies every so slightly depending on year.
Thanks for the info, I'm sure i'll have tons of questions on my truck as it's the first V10 i've owned. I have owned a 7.3 diesel 1996 truck before and am glad i went with the gas truck this time. How are the Stock air filter setups on these trucks? I was thinking of leaving it alone if it's good. If not i have had good luck with the K&N Setups in the past.

The stock intakes are actually pretty good. There are small gains to be had in mainly the upper rpms and throttle response is increased some also.
I have the K&N FIPK II on mine and am happy with it. I have pics in my gallery of some of the work I've done to my truck.
dkf is correct, the off road pkg on the '00's consists of the decals and the transfer case/gas tank skid plates (i have it on my '00). The skid plates are nice to have if you wheel. The long wheel base can get you get high centered and the skid plates (albeit thin) will help protect the undercarriage.
I've been running the K&N FIPK on mine for about 8 years now. Over time, the filter stopped fitting over the intake mount so I called K&N and they sent me out a brand new filter. Took some convincing but they came through.
okay i went and looked at mine to remember exactly how to do it.
