one chambers

I am going to be running one chamber flows and i wanted them to exit before the rear tires. i was wondering if i were to let them dump strait out of the muffler or go with a little bit of pipe and have it exit with a four inch tip thats 18 inches long. Would that be quieter and give it a more mellow tone with the big tips. Thanks for any help.

i had my exhuast exit before the rear wheels, and after a little time the fumes started to ruin the polished aluminum rims. i now have mine exit behind the wheels. so if you have or plan on having nice rims DON'T do it!!!

got one question for ya, you plan on runnin this thing on the street? if you have done any mods to the motor at all, johnny law may be lookin for ya if you put one chambers on. from what i have heard they are a lil on the loud side for public roads(not sayin i wouldnt love it, but ive had my fun with cops). but i would run the longest pipes you could to tame it down a hair. and as for the 4 inch tips, they do mellow it out a bit. you may wanna consider an x pipe too, really mellows the exhaust out. had a buddy whos dads truck was too loud for him(i didnt think it was though) so they put an x pipe on it and really calmed it down. anyway, good luck
