Does the flash change the strategy for my SCT because I dont want to have to get new tunes. My truck is in right now for HG and I dont know if I want them to reflash it if it means loosing my tunes. I had told them not to do any flashes. Thanks.

Yes, a reflash will change your strategy.

Thanks for the reply Cartmanea. If my truck runs fine should I have it flashed or leave it alone?
I like the tunes I have, some Spartan and some of Erics.
If I did get it flashed, I do have all of Spartans archive tunes, but I'm guessing they would be rendered useless?? Anyone know if the new strategy codes are in the archived tunes from Spartan or are they diferent?

If it runs fine and you don't have any cold start issues I would leave it alone. With an '07 you might have the inductive heating flash already.

OK guys I just got off the phone with my dealer. I had to get my truck towed in on Tuesday after it died in the middle of the street. They replaced 4 injectors (2 of them were the same ones they replaced 2 weeks ago) and the fuel pump.

The tech still didn't do the heat flash. I asked the service lady to talk to him about it and he says he normally doesn't do them unless it really has to be done. He says now that this work has been done I shouldn't need it so he doesn't want to do it. I'm not real sure I buy this. I personally think he should be doing it so I can try to avoid the issues I keep having (I've had 8 injectors on 5 different cylinders replaced in the last month and a half).

Should I refuse to take my truck until he does the flash?

If it runs fine don't mess with it. The inductive heating flash stresses the power circuitry of the FICM more and can lead to failures.
