Transmission shifting diff.after flash

I have a Job#1 08 Lariat CC 6.4L w/Auto/ After the most recent flash, my transmission wont shift into overdrive until I hit 50 mph. Before the flash it would. Has anyone else noticed this? It's almost like the Tow/Haul Mode, it simply will not go into overdrive until I go 51 mph, and I know for a fact that it did before.Ive got 35799 miles on it, and am just wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference in the way their tranny changes gears afdter the flash. Ive put over 500 miles on it since the flash, so IF it was because the tranny was relearning shift points it would be well done by now. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah, I havent been able to fork out the money yet for a programmer. Most people seem to like Spartan. Is that the best one in your opinion?

mine has always had the tq lock at 50. even before the flash. that is where is it suppose to be. Every once in awhile if I am say 45 and very lite on the throttle it might go ahead and lock.

It is normal.

ssharber,
What flash are you referring to? I have Job 1 450 with 4.30 rears, and as far as I know the latest flash available for Job 1's is the one associated with the December letter we all got. I had mine re-flashed in January; my previous flash was from July 2008 that I had done in August (removed idle regen and added "cleaning" to dash notifications).

Mine did shift differntly after the December/January flash. I say 50 is about right for lockup; if very light on foot it can happen at 45 or so. I recall that as being an earlier or more obvious lockup that pervious flash.

John, the latest flash done to my truck was the 08B07. I had the one before it done, which caused some peoples trucks to mess up, but not mine. Then when I took it in for something else they ran this one on it, making the Cleaning Exhaust Filter STAY on the display as opposed to how it used to do, which was just flash for a few seconds when it started regenning then went back to normal. After this flash was when I noticed it.

My Job 1 has always shifted right at 51 before and after the flash. I have about 14,000 trouble free miles now.
