I have a 2003 f150 fx4 with the factory ranchos shocks still on and the truck has just turned 100k. When your driving slow like going over a speed bumb the front end makes a squeaking noise, is it the old shocks or a front susp part?

Yeah Im going to agree with ultra, I replaced the front tie arms, control arms, ball joints, and hub bearings at about 110,000 miles. Get your wallet ready because it's going to lighten it up.
Shocks are a hydraulic cylinder, they don't make noises.
The bushings at the ends of the shocks are rubber, possibly that could squeak. But that would be extremely rare.
More likely it is something else, such as a upper or lower control arm bushing those are rubber too. Springs can sometimes squak against their supports as well (metal on metal).
The only way to know for sure is to inspect all the moving suspension parts on the front end.
Im having the exact same problem. 97 F150 with 103K miles. Every bump makes a very annoying squeak. Also, my pitman arm is doing the same when I steer. The pitman arm squealed really bad a while ago, but i greased it with a needle fitting on my grease gun. It seemed to cure the problem for several months, but the squeek is back. Looks like im going to have to suck it up and just replace the pitman arm. Ill probaby do the upper and lower joints,....and the tie rods.....uhhh, this sucks...
