Front End Thump Noise

Front End Thump Noise
I have an 03 F250 2-wheel drive. The truck has a thumping noise when going over rough pavement. The noise is coming from something in the unsprung weight of the front end. Sounds like a shock has lost it's rubber grommet but this is not the case. I have inspected and tightened everything possible all over the front axle without any success. Has anyone had any experience with this type of noise?

I had an 04 that had a tsb for the front leaf spring mounts. The truck was making a thunking noise and they could never figure it out until the tsb came out. Once they replaced the bushings the noise was gone. Now I don't know if this will help you because I think my problem was the factory didn't torque the bolt properly and wore the bushing.

My truck is a 2-wheel drive. It has coil springs not leaf springs and I have already checked to make sure they were seated correctly. I have also checked the sway bar brackets mentioned in other postings without any change.
