Best Mod

I am looking in to doing a few mods to my truck nothing radical like a SC or turbo. I know form reading on hear that i should not wast my time an money on bolt on parts. So with that being said what would be the best mod you guys have done to you truck. I was thinking the Ebay y pipe and maybe a leveling kit. Thanks

From what I have read the 2V owners have seen good results from the Ebay headers, Y-pipe combination. I believe there has also been some power gains from the CAI systems and the CPU tuners.
Now when it comes to the 3V version from 2006 and up, there just ain't much power to be found.
As for a level kit, that would depend on how you are going to use the truck. I have given thought to doing a level it on mine, I like the stance of a level truck. However, I use my truck like a truck....meaning once I load weight in the bed with needed cattle feed or other ranch items it becomes level. If I had a level kit on it, the front of the truck would then be pointing skyward and look really weird.

Gears would be the biggest across-the-board increase in torque-to-the-ground. WHat gears do you have now?

You have a 02 it has the PI heads. As far as mods it all depends on what you are going to do with the truck. If you want more pulling power a gear change would give you the most bang for the $. The only mod (I already have 4.30 gears) I have on our truck is a Banks Cat Back exhaust system that also comes with a larger air inlet housing and filter. It made a difference on high altitude pulling but no difference empty but the truck already has more than enough when empty.
I have driven V10 trucks with 3.73 gears and there is a very big difference between them and the 4.30 gears.

Most of this trucks life will be my daily driver during the winter and in the summer towing a 23 ft toy hauler with 2 full size hd in it about 3 or 4 times a year. Thanks and i do love this truck. i think for now i am just going to leave it alone with the exception of the eBay y pipe and possibly the leveling kit thanks again.

I have 2003 F350 V10. I installed a K&N intake kit and you can hear it sucking air lol... the stock unit was a joke. I'm still waiting to get a programer from super chips i'll let you know how it works. Exhaust i have true duals with 2 1/2 pipe, no cat, turbo tubes, Delta Flow Flowmasters, and 3 1/2 tips. They also make a larger throttle bodies for the V10. I've seen high flow 65mm's for sale. Im holding off on a throttle body spacer because i've seen some for my truck but it looks like it may restrict air flow. But in the same breath the spacer would cyclone the air flow into the throttle body. Gearing wise i have 3.73. look on the front axle it should be stamped on the driver side i believe. I run a 265x 75x 16 at the moment but when i can lift the truck (hopefully this summer) i will change the gears to 4.56 (for running 37's). I can't think of any more mods but if you have any questions i have pic's.
