Tuner Trans improvements?

So, I've seen a few posts saying the 05+ V10's are pretty much maxed out and a tuner doesn't help much but it will help the trans a great deal. Can anyone give me details about what will be improved and which brand is the way to go?

Only get an SCT for best results with the TorqShift tranny. With custom tunes for premium fuel I've heard you can gain around 30hp.

I have also heard that the 3v v10 is pretty much better off left alone. I have a 99 V10 with custom tuning. They found about 10 hp, maybe... You can firm up the shifts which can help it feel faster.

DiabloSport Predator tuners also allow adjustments of the tranny that improve the situation - at least it did on my 5.4L. I have had good luck with it so far and has a lot of user adjustable parameters and can be custom tuned at a DiabloSport retailer that has the availability. Actually the 3v 10 does really well with a flash tuner. Of course I like SCT for a brand. There are some really good increases in torque/hp over stock with just 87 octane. Of course 93 nets more.. See here for some dyno results before / after with custom tuninig on our 05 3v V10. Got a V10 Ford F250/350/450/550?
