rear window weatherstrip question

update...I got at it sooner than expected. I was talking to a friend about it and he's changed quite a few windows before. 15 minutes later I was looking at my nice clear window and not at the old leaky slider 
We reused the weatherstripping because it was nice and soft still. No cracks. So, it was '79 plain weatherstripping and a late '80's glass. Worked great! Thanks again for all the input...this is such a great site
