With stock injectors, just bolt down the wastegate rod so tight that it doesn't open. That's what I did to mine. With stock sticks you can't push that turbo hard enough to need the wastegate. Of course, I have a Banks Big Head that I bought from JTHarvey a few years back, so I just kept it and swapped it to the 38R. But it's so tight the wastegate can't open. Call it overkill if you will.
The 38R is loud, hope you like whistle.
The TN BB is discontinued. So the 38R is the way to go.

It'll work fine with the hybrids. Stock injectors will be a big laggy, then kick in hard. But it will be driveable until you get the bigger sticks in.

The 38R is supposed to be a fine drop-in improvement over the stock one. I cannot comment on that. I have a 1.15 housing, non EBV non wastegated unit with hybrids. It has some lag, but watch out when it lights.. This is becauase of my conservative PMR tuning at my request. I gotta keep it alive. So far so good.

Shop around and dont be afraid to ask if they have a better price. Most retailers list their products at a MAP (min advertised price) or above and sometimes they will give you discounts in their shopping cart on the product. I know I did it all the time.
