well, I was pleased with it when it was working, but from what I have been seeing, I doubt I will be getting any warrenty, unfortunately...garrett here I come

I LOVE my 38R!!! Got it from this guy... Garrett 38r - 1999.5 - 03 7.3L PowerStroke - GAR-1127300 DO tell us whats goin on with the PDR unit though. My buddy toasted his too, and it was replaced with no questions.

I wont know whats up with my pdr till I send it back, wich wont be till like end of febuary or later, as Im in camp right now, looks like I'll be swaping turbos in the -25C weather yay

Make sure the truck is warmed up first. It helps keep you warm too. Definately let us know what Dave tells you.

Garth, that's what killed our time, along with that clamp on the butt.

hey guys little update, I chcked the haft play today, there is none in and out but there is some side to side play, it might juuust graze the compressor housing, there are no marks showing that it has though....whadia think?

Any shaft play is bad, wether in and out or side to side it puts a lot of stress on the bearings and the compresor. It wears out very quickly once it's started.
