Flash and Venturi Recall

Just got my notice yesterday I already did the venturi last fall myself, seen on a post where they said the tec wouldn't sign off on it because they had done it them self. Has anyone else run into this. Figure I would tell them to go ahead and redo it if I do.

Get them to redo it when you take it in for the re-flash. At least that way it may be considered under warranty if it were to fail in the future and it will go on the OAISIS report.

I installed the t myself. When I took it in for the latest flash, the service writer wrote it up for the flash and the venturi t. He didn't say a word to me about it. The tech probably looked under the hood and figured somebody did it and closed the hood. He got paid for it and it now looks like Ford did it under warranty in the Oasis system. just take it in and play dumb. They won't care because they get paid for work they don't have to do!
