That's not good news. As a matter of fact that's very bad news. Some people are able to make a full recovery from this. I had a very close friend that was not.

Hospitals are the worse place to be sometimes. I don't want to start a firestorm here, and I am not being intentionally critical of the medical professionals he is dealing with, as I am sure they are doing everything they can but, going septic happens a lot in the hospital setting especially when we are talking about being on ventilators. The respiratory tract is an inviting host for infection and hospitals are crawling with all kinds of nasty antibiotic resistant strains. I pray they get him squared away, and soon.
We had a woman at work go through this, a really bad case and she was back to work after about 6 months and is here today. There is always hope and prayer!
Thanks Pat for the update and your persistence. That is about as bad as it gets. He can recover, but it is going to take all of our prayers and all of Marks will to do it.
