My doors on my 1952 F-1 are swaging. The problem is the dove tail is not lining up real good. They shut, but I think they need to be adjusted. Is there a way to raise up the door a bit to line up better?

Hi Leonharu!
I haven't heard anything from you in awhile!
Anyway, Got a big Rubber Mallet?
(Ah common Julie cut the kidding - tee hee)
No seriously, there is a door adjustment procedure in the shop manual starting on Page 295 that uses a strategically placed rubber mallet and force on the door.
Since you have a 52, your Shop Manual has the 52 Suppliment (that mine doesn't have) so the page number may be different. It's in "Part FOUR-BODIES; CHAPTER I - CONSTRUCTIUON AND MAINTENANCE; Section 2, Door Alignment."
In short for sagging doors, if you have room for the door to move back a tad, it involves putting a block in the lower hinge and pushing closed on the door to push back on the bottom to rotate the door slightly counterclockwise (when looking at it from the side of the truck).
If there is no room for the door to shift back, then the upper hinge has to be removed and straightened out or the cab body where the hing mounts pushed into place (toward the front of the truck).
If you don't have a shop manual, let me know and I'll type it out for you (for fifty cents).
Tee hee, you blew my humor on that Bob, they all thought I was joking about the mallet.
Question for you Bob
When you scan your stuff are you saving it as a pdf file or a jpeg?
I don't have (or can't find) a way to save it to pdf, nor can I figure out how to post a pdf (if you are allowed to) I'm using an HP scanner and HP Document Viewer.
I scan them in as .jpg files. I do it that way because I don't think you can post a .pdf file that can be seen without going to a link page. My scanner can scan either image files or .pdf files. I don't have a program that I can use to manipulate a .pdf file, I can only read them, so I scan them in as .jpg files so I can highlight areas I want to bring attention to.
I've accumulated quite a file of catalog pages over the last couple of years. I scan a page whenever some one asks for one I have. I want to eventually scan all of the books and catalogs I have but that will take forever if I do it all at once. I figure I might get it accomplished if I do it one page at a time as people ask for them.
