How do you disconnect the line from the quick coupler fitting???

I tried pushing down on the line and pushing the release coller up/down but could not get the line off the fitting. Is there a trick???

OTC makes a nice tool to release them. Some people use two flat screw drivers on opposite sides of the fitting to release them as well.

Make sure you use the Loctite 608 retaining compound on the first three threads of the discharge fittings or it will leak on you again shorty down the road.

Also, I have found that if you can make a tool from something closer to 1/8" thickness, it works better. The one I made, you have to move it to one side or the other to get the snap ring to move enough to release the line. A thicker tool would not require anything more that just inserting it. You could make one from 1/8" flat stock bar metal and a grinder or file.

Make sure that line is rated for 300 degrees and at least 3500 psi working pressure, or you will have a messy surprise!

I was just thinking the same thing. Our Hpop is realitively low pressure in the hydraulic world, I would think you would be able to find the correct bosses and fittings to make some 5000 PSi line work

Print out above pics and take to Parker dealer and see what they would charge to make you new lines. (probably $50 each)

I know you could do it B/C the SSHPX from KCM uses bosses and JIC fittings.

Hey Joey, what size are the bosses that go in the HPOP and rails?

1/8th NPT to JIC? SAE? AN?
