New Shop
After many months of delays and another month or more of moving, in between doing actual business work, we finally have been able to move into our new 2500 square foot shop for our business.
This is truck related because I have some space in the new shop to work on my trucks and store my truck parts inventory, or as my wife calls it, "junk". Now I just need to find the time and money to do the work needed on my trucks.
Outside view:
Storage above the office. I stopped by rcav8or's last winter and he gave me the idea of having gas fired radiant heat installed in place of the stock forced air units. I have two 40 foot units, great decision. Thanks Roger.:

Wow Bob, that looks great, the new year has really started out very good for you , congratulations. I'm curious too, what do you do on the other side of the shop?

Bob, great looking shop! How many of the 2500 sq ft do you get for truck work? It looks like you are a candidate for a lift. The ceiling height looks good. I am currently cleaning/painting the interior of my shop having competed the project of raising a ceiling area for a lift and installation of a new to me two post lift. I seem to remember that you have a forklift (which I don't) which gets you part way there.
Does he sell springs, I had no idea

That is one fancy looking place. I'd be afraid to do anything there because I might get it dirty.
BTW, Julie, we call that stuff snow. Contrary to what some in So Cal believe, it does not rain crystal meth in the North, although we probably have enough of it do a good ground cover.

I got real use to having the shops to work in all my life. You really have a nice place.
I will install that type of heating in my barn soon....wish it was already installed!!
Julie--that is heavy-rain!! Or dense-cloud material......oh crap..it is snow--couldn't keep it from ya'......LOL

I build and install control systems for industrial machinery. The boxes you see when you go into a manufacturing plant and have all the lights that blink on and off and make the machines go up and down, in and out.
I've been doing this type of work for nearly twenty years. I got into the industry after working in the auto body business for over six years and realizing that there was something cleaner and better paying than slinging bondo and paint for 12 hour days, 6 days a week. I started my own business over ten years ago with $2000. We started out working out of an old feed mill that didn't have running water, we had a portable toilet out back, not a nice thing to have to use in the middle of a Wisconsin winter.
We were in this place for just over a year then we found a better place nearby, it had running water and a toilet. We leased the second place for about 9 years and thanks to a small inheritance we were able to put a down payment on this new building.
Julie, enough with the "what is the white stuff" comments. It's killing me! How would you like to have only 3, maybe 4 months to drive your truck?! Us northern guys don't ask how you survive in 80º weather and all that sun, do we? The seasons must get really boring with all that sun and warmth. The extremes in climate in the Frozen Tundra make us heartier individuals, or at least that's what I've been told.
I WANT WARMTH!!! i DON'T WANT TO SEE ANOTHER SNOW PLOW OR BAG OF ROCK SALT!! PLEASE GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!
