i got bad tran question is what would go bad in trans from pulling it with driveshaft in

Don, I don't understand your question, give more details as to what you were doing at the time the problem occurred and exactally what occurred.

thats was it just wondering if i messed anything up a rebiuld would fix from towing

A rebuild would probably fix it but there are a number of things that could have been hurt so its hard to say for certain. Is the truck 4wd? If so it could be something in the transfer case? How far was the truck towed?

wow, 200 miles is alot to be flat towed on an auto. you should has put the t-case in neutral and you would have been fine. you most likely shreaded the bearings in the tranny and sent metal throughout the clutches. it can be overhauled as long as the case didnt get damaged when things overheated.
