banks trans command

Has anybody used this? Any good points or bad?

Yes I had one on my truck for a couple of years, took it off when I got the PHP 6-pos chip. I thought the Trans Command did improve the shifts but the PHP tunes did quite a bit more & improved the shifting even more IMHO.

Just curious but you have the dp f5 so why would you be thinking about the Trans Command ?

buddy has one on his truck..(came with it and the banks monster kit). Seems to shift quite smooth

I was reading up on it. Just curious to see if anybody on here has used it and to see if it made any difference or worth the money

I have one on BigRed but it is bypassed. When I got the DP installed seemed like the truck got confused for the shift profile . It likes the DP much better. So when the DP got installed out came the Ottominder chip which is also just sitting here on the shelf! So if anybody need a Banks Ottominder chip PMT2 It needs a home ! Will sell DIRT CHEAP!!
