Well my bosses daughter called all excited because she went to Dillards here in the Frontier Mall and they were giving away either a free bottle of perfume or a bottle of lotion. I was interested so I looked it up and found that many department stores were sued for price fixing between 1994 and 2003. Apparently they now have to give away $175 million dollars worth of merchandise to make up for it.
I would think that with the state of the economy, the goods would be gone by the end of today. The Dillard's here is closing so the are rushing people in there to get there free stuff.
Good morning pat. I have been giving my money religiously to Lowes. I decided, that even thought it is miles closer to Home Depot, I would rather give my money to Lowes. The store is a lot nicer, the people are friendly, even sometimes helpful and the hotdog stand has better polish dogs.
I'm a Lowes guy too Miles. I don't know why, I just like Lowes better than home depot. Do you guys have a Menards out there? We have one about a mile from my house. That is where I buy all of my wood, I'm just not too impressed with what Lowes and Home Depot has for wood. Especially when I'm buying Oak.
I worked at one of the Menards here in Omaha before I started here at the plant. I stay away from their fasteners, they make them themselves, and they are terrible! Yeah, Menards has a lot of crappy stuff. I usually stick with buying wood, or maybe electrical stuff.
