Driver side power window problem

I did a search for this and couldn't come up with what i was looking for. I have a 2001 f250. the power window on the driver's side will roll down about half way then get real slow and usually stop. i have to push it down to get it to go all the way. this may sound weird but that only time it works properly is after it rains and the truck is wet. im guessing it may just be a lubrication problem. anybody has this problem and have a fix? thanks for the help. Also, it is only the driver's side that does this and none of the others.

You could try lubricating the run channels. I like to use silicone spray because it is dry and does not attract dirt. Put the "straw" in the run channels on both the left and the right and soak it good. Then, run the window up and down a few times to get the silicone on the sides of the glass.

Make sure the tracks are tight. My passenger window had the same problem. After I tightened all the bolts, the problem was gone... almost as if it were fixed.
