im having problems with my door locks. the only one that will unlock is the driver door no matter is i use the keyless entry or the locks inside the truck. they will move a lil bit but will not actuate as they are supposed to. also my driver side front window goes 3/4ths of the way down and either stops completely or stalls really slow. sometimes i have to push it down when it does this to get it to go all the way down. i dont have a problem with the other windows going down and the driver window goes up just fine. if i could get some help on this matter t would be appreciated. thnx.

been there, done that, got the t-shirt with the grease stains to prove it. lol. i appreciate your input though. like i said its just the one window that does that. i dont understand it because it rolls up just fine. like i said it only wants to hang up when its about 3/4ths of the way down.
Sounds like your locks/windows are not getting the amperage to operate the lock/window. May be bad switches. I had same problem with my '92 F250. Pick up a couple of new switches from Ford...they aren't too expensive. Then try swapping them out ad see what happens. I'm assuming that you have an 04? Looking at your name...do you have lots of miles? Ahh, it's an 01....5-6 years old...could be the switches. If I remember right, in my '92, the door and window switches were the same.
Roustabout, try the fix in the thread "power door locks fixed" and that will probably take care of those. The window I suspect has nothing to do with the locks not working properly, you`ll probably end up replacing the window motor to take care of that problem.
I had the same problem with windows. I replaced the motor on the offending window; problem fixed. Still havent found a fix for door locks. Dealer says all actuators need to be replaced at a cost of $800.00.
alright thnx guys. i hope this tin foil thing helps out. thnx for all ur input. ill keep yall posted on how it turns out. sounds like a good weekend job on the driveway. thnx again.
