I seem to be adding a little more now that I am running 5w40 syn. Anyone else seeing this? Still less than 2qt per oil change.(7-8K) and that's a mixed bag of driving.

Barry,

Are you checking your oil each time when the engine is at the same temp? I can see a difference on the dipstice when I check it hot vs. cold.

You know, I can't tell you for sure, but I will make a point to do so from now own. For the most part, I think it's with a cold engine.

not a quart between oil changes,10,000 mile interval ,rotella t 5w40 snytetic mobil one oil filter.

Nada and I change once a year (but putting less than 2,500 mi on it and no oil leaks)
