How much oil between changes

Bought my truck yesterday and the oil level was below add and looked like it hadn't been changed in a while. Had they change it before I bought the truck. Do you guys have to add between changes?

I usually have to add a quart or two about 4-5k miles into an oil change.

I would go ahead and change the oil in your truck, just to be on the safe side.

When I pull the 5th wheel alot during the summer I will have to add a quart.

How many miles are on your truck? and what type oil did they put in it for you?

I'm running 13K-15K between changes, and generally use about 2-2.5 quarts in that time frame between changes.

2 quarts per 7-8K and I have a small leak that is getting bigger. Just got my new blackstone report back and it was good. Silicon is going down steadily since removing the stock airbox.

No problem, it was a typo for my part. I don't know how long the old oil was in there, but it was a while. It sat on the lot a month. Don't know why though. If i wasn't upside down on my trade, I would of got it for 13,900.
