Can Ford do it?

Do you think that Ford will get this new engine right? With all the new epa mandates, there sure is a steep learning curve. Will they test and fix the problems before releasing it on the public? With navistar there sure seems to be a gap between a released product and what they ended up with just a few years down the line. Yes atleast they fixed them, but with thousands of miles of testing, i would think some of the problems would have came upand benn solved. Can Ford do it right in house???

Has anyone heard anything about Ford using their Volvo connection as part of the Scorpion development team?

All I have heard about Volvo is they are 2 separate divisions, and have no connection what so ever.

I read that there are some 6.7s on the road already - Canada maybe?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I plan to hold out for a new PSD. I am interested in the performance of these new diesels.

Ford just has to make these engines B100 capable, IMO.

Ford has plenty of diesel technology being used in Europe, and I hope some of that experience is being shared on this project. When this new power plant is successful, I would hope they will expand their diesel program here to include cars.
