I have had them in the past. They don't work like they do on TV I can tell you that, and their customer service sux big time. If you have a lot of co-workers/friends that are on it, the PTT feature is nice.
That would be cool -- I LOVE Mario Cart!!! But I only have it on the GameCube. Anyone know if it goes online and plays with the others? I'm assuming not...
I got one about a year ago. Ended up upgrading a lot of stuff on it. But if you have a local military base around ya anywhere and a friend thats 21 and a military ID....get your kegs from there! Last keg I bought was 1/2 keg of Bud Light for 55 and no tax!
We couldnt even buy Natural Light for less than 60 anywhere else....bigggg difference!
Made my money back on it in less than a month when I found out bout the 55 dollar kegs!
Theres no base that I know of. We can get bud light for around 65 at other places but my "other" ID isnt here yet so I have to stick with the place right down the street from me. Me and my friends went in on it and we have made our money back as well.
Actually Im drinking bottles now, were making a beer pong table with bottle tops so we have been drinkin bottles for a little while.

Well all, I'm on here for unexpected reasons tonight.
Waterpump on the cheap took a dump tonight. Guess what I get to do on Friday.
Luckily the AZ here has one in stock, along with upper and lower hoses for good measure.
Dan, how hard is a WP on a 5.2? I hear its no big deal just have to get around the bypass hose ontop of the thermostat.
do yourself a favor, put on a new bypass hose..... most of the time the last time they got replaced was the factory. Common for them to be nearly falling apart or so damn hard you'd swear you can weld them to the fitting.
how much do you figure its gonna cost you to build the phenom? Joe
and what hardware are you putting in it?

I've got a case & power supply already. I found a deal for ~$300 for the Processor/MoBo/4GB RAM with onboard video (for now). I'll be upgrading the HD too. So I guess around $400 to start. I'll upgrade the CD RW to a DVD RW and add a better video card later, too. I'm guessing another $150 there. This is for my daughter, so I just want to get her something that will last a good long time. I'm still running a single core AMD Athlon right now, but it's been a friggin' great machine and I don't game on it, so no need to upgrade just yet. I've already got a 1TB external HD full of tunes & movies -- I just don't need much more of a machine for now. I'll wait until the next gen comes out and make the jump...

ok, what in the world is a phenom? My last 2 workhorse computers were dual xeon's.... last 2-3 video cards I bought were anywhere from $800-$2100.00, and my current box is a quad core 3.0 Q9650 with 4 gb of ram and twin SATA 150 GB drives. I don't game..... I use it for engineering drawings...This things may be a bit faster than the dual Xeon 2.8 I was using.... but I think its primarily the ram and video card changes.

Check this out. I took this pic at one of the Fire Stations on base when I was in Iraq. Yes, that's a full-sized door on the left. It's a giant fire badge made out of dip cans. LOL...
