Question New PCM Cleaning/ Install Tips

I got my new PCM today and can't wait to get it in. Just wanted to have you guys check the pics to make sure everything looks good physically and in the id numbers. Also needed to know any cleaning to be done or anything that is a good idea while its out, since I will be doing a DP within a month hopefully, thx

Hey Clay. That is the same PCM code I have on my truck. Here is the way to clean for the DP-TUNER. click here. Jody will not have any problems tuning that PCM.

Good luck and have fun.

I was just looking at it and after reading Guzzle's instructions noticed the silicone is already off and looks like like a PCM tuner was already on it since the is some masking tape by the port. Can someone confirm that they leave no residual programming behind and look and see from the photo what if anything I need to do to the prongs. Want to make sure they are undamaged. Should I clean all the dust from inside with some electrical cleaner of some sort. Thanks

You can use some compressed air to clean the dust if you wish. Set your regulator to 20-30 psi and gently blow it off.
