I added pics to my gallery of the process that I went through to strip, insulate, and complete the interior of my '56. Take a look if you get a chance.
Nice job you have done. Looks great. I like your arm rests, did you make them. I'm in the process of making some for myself, if you did make your own how did you go about it, were they attached after upholstery or before?
Thanks everyone!!! It was a LOT of work, but was really worth it. I can't believe how much quiter the ride is....and it is sooooo much cooler in the cab now. Now all I have to do is get the window channel and wipes and it will almost be silent. LOL!!!
Julie, you are on your own with yours. LOL!!! It was a fun experience, but nothing I want to do in the near future.
The seat and door panels were done by the PO. I'm thinking the seat might be an aftermarket from Mid-Fifty. The arm rests were put on after the upholstery and are very narrow so the seat can flip forward. I will be reworking both of those items when I can get some money back into my coffers. Like that is going to happen anytime soon.
i would've never thought the red , white { or cream whatever colour the seats are } and your truck colour would've went together and looked that good but ..................... looks sweet !
Excellent work you got going on there. One sweet looking interior! I like your sound system set up.I'm puttin mine under the seat too . Hows that work out?
Seat looks like a Glide Engineering seat...many people do not have the foresight to design the armrests in such a manner as to allow the seat to flip forward. It can be a real pain to have to open both doors to raise the lower seat cushion. Truck looks very nice, you are doing some fine work on her...let us know when you get around to replacing that bowtie powerplant :~)
I'm glad to hear that as I'll be needing some pointers. Maybe you could start a gallery showing setups and wiring. I've bought a multi media player and speaker as well as an amp ( 600 whatever ) not sure if I've over powered it or not. Glad to have you with us.
I would suggest starting a new post with that in the title if you want to get more replies from people who have a 52 panel... Your question may not be seen in this thread by the folks you are targeting.

Herbiehusker, is that a lokar pedal you are using?
