Fuel Pump Question

The facts
2000 E150 with 4.2 engine.

I am new to Ford vans and wanted to find out more about the fuel pumps on these vans. I was reading some information that indicated some of these vans have an access panel in the back floorboard to make a fuel pump change easier. My van has a plywood flood installed and I don't want to pull it up just to see if an access panel exists.

Would my year and model have it?

Thanks.

I have never seen such an access panel. Dropping the tank isn't that big a deal. I have done it. If/when you do, also change the fuel filler/vent hoses.

Will I got the hole cut out but there is a floor mounted cross member in the way. But you can get to the hoses to disconnect the lines

The gas tank in a 2000 is completely different than on an '87.

Your "locations and measurements" will have no relation to a 2000.
