I have a 04 fx4 extended cab and my back glass (solid, not a sliding back glass) is leaking on the passenger side corner. I searched the forum and found where some people were having issues with the sliding back glass leaking, but nothing where a solid one was. My question is this - - has anyone had any issues with the seal around the back glass or with the 3rd brake light seal causing you a leak?
I talked with a mechanic at the Ford place and he told me if it was the brake light that the leak would be in the middle of the glass. He said that Ford has had issues with both the brake light and bad window seals causing leaks.
I have an 06' Screw. nIt had stains after first rain on rear set.
You can check the 3rd brake light by closing all windows and doors, then with the AC fan on full soak the outside of the light with real soapy water. If it is the light seal, there will be bubbles forming around the light, like mine did. Had the dealer erplace the seal.
Next rain storm had same leak stains on rear seat.
Dealer promptly replaced the window seal too. No more leak.

Awesome idea! Mine's leaking as well so I will try this tonight.....
Mine was the 3rd light leakin. It was replaced under warranty, then it leaked again after i took it off to change a bulb. I have a cap on the truck now so i just removed it and used some silicone caulk on it and it hasn't leaked a drop since.
Tylus pointed out a few things that should have TSBs listed for both issues. You might be able to find the "factory" fixes in our TSB section above... if you want to tackle it yourself.
I took mine out and sure enough, there was signs of leaking all over. I had leftover 1/4" foam window sealer with adhesive on one side on from a door project on it. I did so I used that. Just strip the old gasket off, reapply a new one and put back in. Problem solved so far...
