in 03 - 04 there is a removable ring is in the intake side of turbo. I think. I am going to look for it in a few weeks. Years aftfer that I think it isnt removable you would have to machine it out.
User on here recently removed his, said he did not notice an increase in turbo noise. Our turbos are already screamers. This is what the removable silencer ring looks like.
