It Lives!!

good news is missindependent is on her way home. bad news is i forgot to take my camera on the mission and her batteries died so all i have is pictures of our 3 trucks at my house....

we blistered through an ice storm for 3 hours and tackled a few icy mountains to get to the truck to find it buried in snow with dead batteries...lol, no worries we came prepared. jumpercables away!! got power and started scanning, no codes, last guy cleared them for us...lol end result- found damaged cam sensor as first issue, had no rpm PID while cranking. repaired that with a spare i had. next issue was the truck only built 185-200 psi high pressure oil. after a little diag i found the 6 wire connector on the passenger side of the fuel bowl damaged. a little spit and bailing wire to keep things together and its back on the road.
the front axle issue is the pinion bearing. took a total dump, i can grab the pinion and flop it around. the housing is toast most likely.

she should be in washington dc by now and home by 10:30, unfortunatly her truck is still here but it will be delivered to her in the next day or so by John(jethro250) and his dad.

well, katie will have to answer those questions to be exact but if i recall, the axle went first, she got stuck in a muddy spot or something and the axle let go after she got out and went up the road so they spent an extra day working on that, then the truck itself died. they had someone scan it and they said it had a cam sensor code and a pcm code in it. they installed a cam sensor from autozone but it is no good. the wire harness i can only assume got damaged when her fuel pump was replaced and just took until now to completly come apart.
