yup, just get a plug for it, available just about anywhere, i cant recall the size of it so just take the sensor with you to match it up.

450 sounds way too high to me. you'd be better off to buy my front axle and get 4.10's for your rear axle....

ok, dumb question...how complicated is it to get it off?

i'm just pricing...haven't called the salvage place yet. what would be the advantage of going from 3.55s to 4.10s? well, besides a rescue team reunion...seems inevitable lol

dumber question.... how hard is what to get off? lol the leaky thing? if so it just unscrews. use a pair of channel locks to hold onto it.

with the 35's on your truck you would benefit from 4.10's as far as power/economy. 13 is horrible mpg for your truck. its basicly identical to mine and i avg 18 or a little better if i just cruise with it.

haha sorry, yeah i meant the leaky thing. what does it do anyway? if it's unimportant enough that i can just take it off and plug it...why did ford put it there in the first place?? channel locks...hmm, better grab my daddy before he leaves at 5 am, cause even if i knew what i was looking for, i couldn't find a thing in that workshop to save my life! lol

she's usually more like 17 mpg when i stay off the accelerator/<2000rpm. that's why i'm worrying that something besides that sensor is leaking

the sensor is only there to tell you when the fuel filter gets plugged. when it senses a restriciton in the housing it trips the switch causing the light to come on. most people plug it when they start to leak. i think the sensor is 50 or 60 bucks vs a 2 dollar pipe plug
