If you are using stock components, no. The stock rocker arms were self aligning, and positive stop. You might need to borrow a pushrod legnth checker and order up the correct legnth.

If you were to change the rocker arms, you would need hardened pushrods, guide plates, new studs, and locknuts of your choice

^^ I R not teh espurt.

I do not think so. The only thing I can imagine might be an issue is to check your clearances once assembled, the rocker arms might hit on the base of the studs. You might have to get the stud seating surface on the head (I cannot think of the correct term for it right now) cut down.

If you've got the money to burn... I would put my money someplace else in the motor first.

I dunno, if everything else is paid for, go for them. If you have not had your heads ported yet, I would definatly say spend your money there first. Oversized SS valves, porting per Rein"Car"nation High Performance / index 2 website. Its $25, but its well worth it.

edit: did a search, found the link bypassing the donation he wants. D3_specific_porting_guide_page1 He's put alot of manhours into this, so if you use this tutorial, cough up some bread.

You need to have the guide plate thickness cut from the rocker stud bosses or you will screw up your rocker arm geometry.

how would it affect geometry if the pushrod length and the valve height don't change?
The ONLY reason you need to mill the pedestals down is if when you get the valve geometry and setting right your rockers hit the base of the stud, if that is the case then you need to mill the pedestal down otherwise you can just bolt them on.
Most times the D0VE heads don't require milling but with some rocker/stud/vavlve/spring retainer combos they will to make everything work. Best way to tell is to mock it up and see if you have to, if you don't want to take the chance or the time to do it that way then just have the thickness of the guideplates milled off and then you know it won't hit. It's not going to hurt anything but your wallet to mill them if it turns out you didn't need to, but if you don't do it and don't do the mock up it can make some serious issues if things aren't right.
