I installed me a kussmall auto ejector for my blockheater it works great i never have to think of the cord i turn the key and the cord gets unplugged automatically lol. it actually hits the garage wall 3 feet away it ejects with that much force. same setup used on ambulances and fire trucks
if i remember correctly... the screws are color coded
black screw = black wire-hot <- they also used brass screws for this connection at times
Green Screw = green wire-ground
Silver Screw = white wire-cold
on the cord, the middle wire is the ground. i think the side wire with the ridges on it is the hot(black) and the one without the ridges is the cold(white)
not sure on the cord though.. and my meter is at the shop or i would check it out for ya.
