My wife drove off with my cord attached and ow my block heater does not work. I felt it while it was plugged in and it was cold. Then I looked at it with the engine running and oil was leaking out around it!
Does the cap stay well seated? Just want to make sure so I don't pack it with snow and road grim, thx
I have had no problems with it coming up it has a real good fit so I don't think you would have anything to worry about it is made for boats so it has to keep water out I don't think it is waterproof but it does stay dry in the rain and snow. My old cap would never stay on the plug and my plug ends were in bad shape and hard to get a cord onto I really like this setup TNT has it on his truck too that is how I found out about it.
Oops! I accidently bough 2 of the Marinco outlets. If somebody wants the extra let me know and I will ship it for free if you can cover the $10 I had to pay the seller, thx
I can tell you on boats those marinco plugs are really good. use em for battery chargers all the time. and for the most part the cap stays in place. Even at 70 mph on the water!
If I understand you want $10 shipped for it? If so I would like it, let me how you want the $$
Hey, sorry about that. Someone already PM'd me for it. Looks like you can't PM yet, it will come soon. If you still want one, find a couple more people and I will use my shipping hookup to get it for you at no shipping cost. Just let me know. Sorry you missed out first round.
Wow Lee, I love where you mounted it! I was regreting having to put a hole in my bumper. I just have the plastic plat mount, where did you find you metal one?
I made it out of mirror finished stainless steel. So it, the MOTOR, and these will be the only thing left after the rest of the truck rusts to the ground.
