Can you post up where you got the parts from? Looks usable and slick!

I got mine off Ebay. It is a Marinco 5278 DRI 15amp. Here is a link to one on Ebay.

My wife drove off with my cord attached and ow my block heater does not work. I felt it while it was plugged in and it was cold. Then I looked at it with the engine running and oil was leaking out around it!

Has anyone had to replace the element?

I have had no problems with it coming up it has a real good fit so I don't think you would have anything to worry about it is made for boats so it has to keep water out I don't think it is waterproof but it does stay dry in the rain and snow. My old cap would never stay on the plug and my plug ends were in bad shape and hard to get a cord onto I really like this setup TNT has it on his truck too that is how I found out about it.

I can tell you on boats those marinco plugs are really good. use em for battery chargers all the time. and for the most part the cap stays in place. Even at 70 mph on the water!

Hey, sorry about that. Someone already PM'd me for it. Looks like you can't PM yet, it will come soon. If you still want one, find a couple more people and I will use my shipping hookup to get it for you at no shipping cost. Just let me know. Sorry you missed out first round.

Any help with install? What size hole saw? What corresponding holes do you hook the wires up to?

I made it out of mirror finished stainless steel. So it, the MOTOR, and these will be the only thing left after the rest of the truck rusts to the ground.
