That sounds like a whole can of worms you want nothing to do with... I know I wouldn't.

if you are that worried about a programmer, just ask the dealer to reset the speedo for you.

their diagnostic tooling can easily do this...probably cost you $50-100 though

I personally would get the Edge. Leave it in the stock mode, or Tranny mode. You can adjust your tire sizes as needed easily.

I agree w/Tylus but I would go with the Gryphon and the custom tunes.

The Gryphon is just like the Edge but can be custom tuneed specific for your truck. The customer service is one on one and it is truly a family business. The owner has extensive programming knowledge of the Ford platform and knows what he is doing.

Stay away from that guy who does programming on the side, really
