Thanks benshere and opossum, you guys nailed it for me. I will order the Cloyes set and install it at 0 deg. Should see a good difference. Not sure what Bear has going on, maybe some issues that need to be resolved????

What I have going on is that benshere is passing out bad info in the extreme. But go ahead and listen to his moron advise on moving the timing one tooth. I never advocated anything more than going with a pre-72 stock set or an aftermarket setup at 0°. That's what I have going on. But you can get stuffed with your attitude.

enough with the personal attacks. I am not a baby sitter. Opinions are just that, YOUR opinion is not necessarily right or wrong.
This makes the third thread in a week I have had to lock and I am tired of it, so if I have to continue there will be a serious look at the common person in this that constantly drops to personal attacks.

There is an option to ignore a user may I suggest that it be used.
