Driving Lights behind the grill?
I am looking to install some driving lights behind my grill this weekend, and have seen on the forum a few guys have done this. I dont have a billet grill, just the stock one, and was wondering the best way to mount them and what modifications i need to make to the grill for them to fit and get the most output from the lights without the grill blocking them. Any heat issues i need to be aware of as well? Thanks in advance for any tips.

I used steel plate to make the mount that I bolted to the header panel behind the grille and then bolted the lights to the plate.
If you are running a stock grille you'd probably be best picking a smaller square or rectangular light to keep the bars from blocking the light.

Here are mine mounted directly to the grill. No problems with heat since the grill is more fiberglass than plastic.
