Mostly deep mud and trials. No rocks here.
Tires right now are 40/17 hawgs, and eventually go to 44 hawgs or swampers. Rear will be locked, front will have posi.

TheTinian, where are you in Fl.?
I live in Port Charlotte (100 miles south of Tampa)
Im changing my rear to a corp 14 and I have a D60 rear with 4:88's , Detroit locker and yukon chromo shafts all less than 100 miles on it.
Im only changing it cause I want a stronger rear end so you may not want it if you are going 44's.

I like my 5.13's. With a mild built 466,C6 & 42's they are a good all around ratio.

Im about 15-20 miles from Tampa (unfortunatly). I do most of my wheeling up North, in pasco and hernando county and planning to move there hopefully soon.
If the offer was there a couple months ago, I wouldve taken you up on it. I have the Sterling 10.25 in right now, and pretty happy with it. Thanks though, I'm sure you'll be able to get rid of it pretty easily. What kind of tires are you running that the chromo'd D-60 cant handle??

HAHA, Oh yeah I now remember you posting in another thread about your sterling.
Nope I dont blame ya for not wanting to down size lol..
I just saw you say 4:88 and a light bulb went off in my head. No biggie, I'll find someone at mudfest in feb that will want it. Right now I am running 38 inch ground hawgs with a mostly stock 460. Planning on 42's when these wear out. I think that stock shaft must have been tweeked or something cause I broke it just barely trying to turn the tires over a lil in my driveway. I put the yukons in it just to get me by till I get this 14 bolt put together with the gears and locker I need. I dont think the 60 will live even with chromos because we are kinda dumb down south here and think its fun to play tug o war with other trucks.

I am changing my advice based on your 2 statements. With a max of 60 mph, and mostly deep mud, I say go for the 5.13s.
