No remote start. AFAIK some have a sort of timer you have to adjust for the summer and winter, etc, etc which messes with the time it takes before it cranks the engine. Personally, I haven't found it worthwhile. Doesn't take that long to start the engine. Also, I am not a big fan of the turbo timers. The only one I would use would be one with a thermocouple to shut down at a certain EGT. By the time I shut down the trick, it is almost at 300 deg anyways.

I have a viper 5701 that works great. Had it almost year. Because the truck is currently parked away from the house and garage(no time to run a long extension cord) and it is currently 6 degrees(10:50 pm), expected to get near -5, I have it set to auto start which it does every 3 hours and I have the run time set for 15 minutes. Great feature I use when I can't plug it in.
